The Centro de Aromas y Sabores (Center for Aromas and Flavor) was founded in 1998 under DICTUC S.A. with the aim of improving the aromatic quality of national food products. Its mission since has been to perform scientific research of high level, and to offer qualified support and services to agroindustrial companies. DICTUC S.A. is a subsidiary of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Catholic University of Chile) which offers services in all branches of engineering. The Centro de Aromas is divided in four units: Chemical analysis, Sensory and Hedonic Studies, Product Design, and Process Engineering. In its first ten years, Centro de Aromas has established itself as a renowned company that offers solutions to all the enterprises that rely on the aromatic and sensory component as a key aspect of their products. |
